Sandra Perkins

In addition to joining the AURA corporate office on an acting basis, Sandra Perkins is serving as the head of human resources for the Space Telescope Science Institute (STScI). At STScI, she partners with leaders in every area to develop a workforce of diverse attributes, talents, backgrounds, expertise, and perspectives. Before joining the institute, Ms. Perkins was the director of human resources at Tential in Annapolis, Maryland, where she partnered closely with executive leadership to develop and implement transformative strategies to support the organization’s employees. She received a BS in Business Management from Virginia Tech and earned a certificate in diversity, equity, and inclusion for human resources from Cornell University.
