Amanda Blake has diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Amanda started their career at Lois Learning Tree as a Lead Preschool Teacher/Acting Director, where they provided quality care for 3 and 4-year-old children. Amanda then worked as an ABA Therapist at Gamut Early Intervention, providing direct client care and following prescribed behavioral protocols. Amanda also served as a Behavioral Coach at Staffmore, LLC, where they interacted with clients, served as a mentor to youth, and provided counseling and supervision. Amanda worked as a Site Director at Legacy Youth Tennis and Education, overseeing staff and coordinating activities for youth. Amanda also worked as a K-6 Resource Teacher at One On One Learning, developing lesson plans and managing student behavior. Additionally, they served as a Student Success Coordinator (School Social Worker) at Belmont Charter Network, collaborating with colleagues to design a comprehensive counseling program and providing counseling to students. Amanda was also an Assistant Director of Social Services at Cliveden Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, where they assisted with social services. Prior to that, they worked as a Private Tutor at mySylvan Marketplace+ and as a Mental Health Counselor/Life Coach at Aura Health, where they conducted assessments, diagnosed mental and emotional disorders, and created treatment plans. Currently, Amanda is working as a Care Consultant at Integrated Health Resources, providing crisis intervention services and referrals over the phone. From 2009 to 2013, Amanda attended Halsey Academy of Business & Finance (EHS) and obtained a diploma in Business and Finance.
Amanda then went on to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Pre-Law from Saint Elizabeth University from 2013 to 2017.
In 2015, they obtained a certification from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) as a research-certified individual.
Amanda furthered their education by completing a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling/Wellness Counselor at NYU Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development from 2018 to 2019.
In addition to their degrees, Amanda obtained various certifications. Amanda received a Careers in Law Certificate from The Bianchi Law Group, LLC in April 2016. Amanda also obtained a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the National CPR Foundation in February 2018.
