Daniel Lee has worked in a variety of roles since 2012. In 2012, they were a drummer for an Alternative Band, where they performed at local venues in Hollywood and Los Angeles area, opened for MTV alternative rock band, Cartel at The Troubadour, and released an EP on iTunes. In 2013, they were a Summer Intern at Body Dynamix Chiropractic & Performance, where they treated injured professional and college athletes applying ultrasound and personal training skills. In 2015, they were a Co-Founder of Wayfarer Mobile Technologies, where they were building a high-frequency social collaboration platform that catalyzed human interactions and deepened relationships. Daniel was also an Undergraduate Research Assistant at UC Santa Barbara Biomedical Sciences Laboratory, D. Montell Lab. In 2017, they became Co-founder & Chief Product Officer at Aura Health, which is a "Spotify for mindfulness" that provides short, personalized audio tracks from the world's best coaches and helps people find peace. The company is backed by Cowboy Ventures, Reach Capital, 1517 Fund, UC Berkeley SkyDeck, UCSF Rosenman, Prototype Capital, Praxis Labs, and founders & executives of companies like Spotify, Apple, Life360, Strava, and gifs.com.
Daniel Lee attended UC Santa Barbara where they studied Biopsychology.
