Jerome Curlier

Jerome Curlier has extensive experience in software engineering and technology. Jerome began their career in 1996 as a Software Engineer for the French Army, where they participated in the migration of several windows applications from dBase, Paradox to Delphi. In 1997, they founded and managed WebiSoft, a web design agency in France. In 2000, they joined IBM Pacific Development Centre in Vancouver as a Software Architect, providing consulting services to companies such as Air Canada, BCAA, Sprint, and State Farm. In 2004, they became Technical Director for Ascendant Technology, an Avnet company, and IBM Business Partner, where they led the planning and execution of the largest WebSphere Portal implementation in the U.S. In 2015, they became Chief Technology Officer for Philafy, a social engagement platform. In 2016, they joined Microsoft as a Senior Software Engineer, managing the Visual Studio Connected Services and the Salesforce Integration Wizard for Visual Studio. In 2017, they served as Lead Software Engineer for Gigster and Fractional Chief Technology Officer for Radivision. Since 2019, they have served as Chief Technology Officer for Aura Health and Fractional Chief Technology Officer for Dorms.com. In these roles, Jerome has been responsible for the infrastructure, the backend, and the engineering process. Jerome has designed, built, and maintained nodeJS services, machine learning pipelines, and web applications. Jerome has also been influential in delivering the first versions of many innovative products.

Jerome Curlier completed their Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering from Florida Institute of Technology in 1994, followed by a Master of Aeronautics & Astronautics from University of Washington in 1996. Jerome also holds certifications from IBM, CompTIA, Sun Microsystems, and Microsoft, including IBM Certified Advanced Application Developer, IBM Certified Application Developer, IBM Certified Solution Developer, IBM Certified System Administrator, Linux+ Certified Professional, Programmer for Java 2 Platform, Microsoft Certified Professional Solution Developer (MSCD), and i-Net+ Certified Professional.
