Crystal Slusser

Crystal Slusser has a diverse work experience in the healthcare and senior care industry. Crystal is currently the CEO-Instructor at Aura Enlighten and also holds the role of Founder and Member at AURA Cares. In 2021, they founded and served as the CEO of Aura Home Care and Concierge. Before that, they were the Director of Operations at Senior Helpers. In 2020, they worked as the Healthcare Director at Harmony Senior Services, where they also served as the Harmony Square Director at Harmony at Wescott Plantation. Prior to that, they were the Director of Resident Care at Five Star Senior Living. Crystal has also worked as a Memory Care Manager at Somerby of Mount Pleasant and as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Carolina Center for Occupational Health. Crystal started their career in 2012 and gained experience as a student at ECPI University.

Crystal Slusser attended ECPI University from 2012 to 2013, studying Practical Nursing. Crystal obtained their Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification from the South Carolina Board of Nursing in 2013. In 2021, they obtained a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. Crystal has also obtained multiple certifications related to dementia care, including being a Certified Montessori Dementia Care Professional and Trainer from the International Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners (ICCDP) and a Certified Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia Care Trainer from the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners (NCCDP). Crystal is also a Certified Dementia Support Group Facilitator and a Certified Dementia Practitioner, both from the NCCDP. Crystal'smost recent certifications were obtained in 2023.
