Samer Al-Zoubi has extensive work experience in the hospitality and food industry. Samer started their career at Sheraton Damascus Hotel in 1986 as an Oriental Demi chef. Samer later worked as an Oriental cook at Sheraton Burj Aljazeera Hotel in 1988. In 1991, they worked at Al Amani restaurant in Kuwait for a year. From 1997 to 2007, they served as an Executive Chef at Gemini Group. In 2007, they became the Deputy General Manager at Gemini Group until 2009 when they joined Al-Kubra Banqueting & Conference Center as an Executive Chef. From 2011 to 2018, they worked as a General Manager at Food Art Development & Production. Samer then moved on to become a Consultant Executive Chef at Food Art Development & Productions in 2010. Finally, they joined Aura Hospitality & Food Services in 2018 as the Chief Brand and later as a brand chef from 2019 to 2021.
Samer Al-Zoubi began their education at the Diqwani Institute-Beirut from 1986 to 1988, focusing on food preparation and professional cooking as a kitchen assistant. Additionally, they obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 1995, they completed a program on Classical French Cuisine at Sheraton Hotels & Resorts. In 2000, they obtained the Arabian Quality maker certification in Damascus and a certificate in ISO 9000 from Gemini Hospitality Management. In 2004, they received the Rwtuv certificate in Damascus. In 2017, they obtained various certifications, including the GMP, HACCP, and ISO 22000 from Lebanon, and attended the LAFST Annual Conference in Beirut. More recently, in 2022, Samer completed several online certifications from LinkedIn, such as Creating a Program Strategy, Extreme Focus for Effective Performance, Leading with Values, Building Resilience, Building Resilience as a Leader, Connecting Your Work to Your Purpose, Humble Leadership: The Power of Relationships, Openness, and Trust (getAbstract Summary), Lead Like a Boss, and Leadership Foundations.
