Gonzalo then went on to receive an MSc Organic Agriculture in Agroecology from Wageningen University & Research between 2012 and 2015. During this time, they also earned edX Honor Code Certificates for Growing our Future Food: Crops, Introduction to Nutrition – Food for Health, and Forests and Livelihoods in Developing Countries from Wageningen University & Research and The University of British Columbia, respectively. Additionally, they received a Certificate in Advanced English from the University of Cambridge in 2012.
In 2015, they earned a Master’s Degree in Business Management from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, and a Manipulación Higiénica de Alimentos + Control del Vidrio from Codorníu Raventós in 2016. In 2017, they achieved a Level 2 Award in Wines and Spirits (English) with a score of 96/100 – Distinction from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust. Gonzalo then went on to receive a Curso de Extensión Universitaria in Sommelier from CETT_UB Tourism & Hospitality, Education/Research between 2018 and 2019. Finally, in 2021 they earned a Level 3 Award in Wines (English) – Pass with Merit and a Blockchain Fundamentals (Professional Certificate) from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust and University of California, Berkeley respectively.
