Mark James

SVP Customer Experience, Employee Benefits at Aura

Mark James has extensive experience in various leadership roles within the customer experience and consulting fields. Mark started their career at Arthur Andersen & Co. as an Audit Senior before moving on to Aerotek, where they served as the Assistant Controller for the Onsite Engineering and Management Division. Mark then joined Romac International as a Recruiter before transitioning to Blackbaud, where they became the Operations Manager for Services, overseeing strategic development and financial management. Mark later joined Universal Data Solutions as the Director of Consulting Services, leading the implementation of financial management solutions for medical schools. Mark then worked at MVP Natural Stone, LLC, first as President and later as CFO post-merger, where they successfully turned around and reengineered a failing marble and granite fabrication facility. Mark then joined eThority as the CFO/Director of Consulting Services, where they played a key role in implementing business analytics software and managing financial operations. Mark's next move was to Equifax, where they held several roles, including Senior Director of Consulting Services, Senior Director of Onboarding Services, and Vice President of Client Experience. Mark was responsible for leading teams, achieving high renewal rates, and providing financial and operational guidance during the company's transition. Currently, Mark is the SVP of Customer Experience for Employee Benefits at Aura.

Mark James attended Wake Forest University from 1988 to 1992, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting with Cum Laude Honors. Mark does not possess any additional certifications at this time.
