Emma Connell

Emma Connell is a seasoned professional in the environmental and planning sectors with extensive experience spanning multiple organizations. Currently serving as Principal and Director of Environment and Planning at Aurecon since September 2017, Emma previously held the role of Deputy Chair at Westernport Water and worked as a Senior Executive at RPS UK & Republic of Ireland. Emma has also contributed as Chair of the Kananook Creek Ministerial Advisory Committee and Executive Manager Environment at the Port of Hastings Development Authority. Additional roles include Project Approvals Manager at Hydro Tasmania and Specialist Environment Scientist at Entura. Academic credentials include a PhD in Marine Botany from The University of Western Australia, a BSc in Marine Biology and Biological Oceanography from Bangor University, and a graduate qualification from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
