Dr. Cristián Maureira-Fredes

Dr. Cristián Maureira-Fredes is an R&D Senior Manager at The Qt Company, leading teams in the Qt Foundations R&D area. With a background in Astrophysics and Informatics Engineering, Dr. Cristián has also worked as a doctoral student at the Max-Planck Institut für Gravitationphysik, a project assistant at CTI-HPC, and as a developer and computer laboratory assistant at Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María. Their education includes a Dr. rer. nat. in Astrophysics from Leibniz Universität Hannover, a Master's in Informatics Engineering, and Bachelor's in Informatics Engineering from UTFSM.
