Jiyu Zhou is a Process Engineer at Aurecon since August 2023, focusing on process design and optimization across the Future Energy, Alternative Protein, Chemical, Manufacturing, and Water industries, with experience in various project stages. Previously, Jiyu served as a Project Engineer at Alfa Laval from March 2020 to August 2023, managing major projects in food, water, and oil and gas sectors, ensuring adherence to budget and scope while preparing various technical documents and conducting HAZOP studies. Jiyu's earlier roles include a Cost Analyst Intern at CRU, where modeling carbon emissions in the iron ore industry was performed, and an Academic Tutor at the University of Sydney. Additional experience includes a process engineering position at Griffith City Council and research as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at Kassal Group. Jiyu holds a Bachelor of Engineering Honours in Chemical Engineering from the University of Sydney.
