Rachel Ang

Rachel Ang is a Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in design and construction monitoring for mechanical building services across various sectors, including healthcare and residential projects, currently holding a position at Aurecon since September 2019. Rachel has participated in significant projects, such as the ADHB Covid Rapid Response project, and has transitioned from a hybrid role that included sustainability to a full-time focus on sustainability engineering, working on initiatives like Green Star, Homestar, and LEED. Prior to Aurecon, Rachel worked at 1st Mechanical Ltd as a Junior Engineer, where design and project management skills were further developed, and at Callaghan Innovation as a Summer Student, contributing to research on metamaterials. Rachel holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honors) in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Auckland.
