Gilles van Kooten

Gilles van Kooten is currently serving as Managing Director Benelux at AURELIUS GROUP, where Gilles is responsible for Special Situations and MidMarket opportunities in the Benelux region. Previously, Gilles held the position of COO at The Next Closet, overseeing Operations, After-Sales, Finance, Data Analytics & HR. Prior to that, Gilles worked as Director Specialised Finance at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. and as a Project Manager M&A at Vattenfall. Gilles also has experience as a Consultant at Varova Investments and as an Associate at Wilshire Associates Private Markets Group. Gilles holds an MSc in Finance & Management from Cranfield School of Management and various other educational degrees in fields such as Information Science and Insolventierecht voor banken.
