Abigail Hancock

Abigail Hancock is an experienced professional in the field of railway sustainability, currently serving as Environment Manager (Rail) at Aureos since October 2024, following the acquisition of Linbrooke Services. Abigail has held multiple leadership roles, including Chair of the Rail Industry Sustainability Forum since March 2024 and Head of Environment and Sustainability at Linbrooke Services from November 2020 to October 2024. Earlier positions include Environment and Energy Manager at Arriva Rail London and Environmental Advisor at Arriva Bus (UK). Abigail holds a Master of Science in Sustainability and Consultancy from the University of Leeds and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences: Ecology and Environmental Management from Nottingham Trent University.
