Anan Haija

Anan Haija, MD, FACR is a highly experienced rheumatologist and co-founder of VIP Rheumatology, beginning in January 2024. Anan has served as a professional speaker for multiple prestigious pharmaceutical companies, including Aurinia Pharmaceuticals Inc., Novartis, Amgen, and AbbVie since 2015. From May 2021 to October 2023, Anan held the position of Director of Rheumatology at SMC Physicians, and prior to that, worked as the Rheumatology Medical Director at AtlantiCare from October 2012 to May 2021. Anan’s early career included roles as a Physician Advisor at Optum and a Hospitalist at Cancer Treatment Centers of America, following a rheumatology fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania Health System from July 2009 to June 2011. Anan completed medical education at the University of Jordan between 1998 and 2004.
