Frada Berenshteyn, MS, MBA has a wealth of experience in the biotechnology and biomedical research fields. Frada started their career in 2000 as a Research Scientist at the Skirball Institute of Biomolecular Medicine, NYU. In 2006, they moved to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center as a Research Scientist. In 2007, they were a Research Specialist at the Rockefeller University. From 2009 to 2021, they were a Senior Principal Scientist at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR). In their role at NIBR, they were responsible for generating cell-based therapies, cell engineering, new technology development, product development, strategy, preclinical studies, manufacturing, meeting regulatory requirements, document generation for FDA, experience interacting with FDA, management, leadership, design, optimization validation, implementation, transfer of protocols and processes, and interactions with external and internal collaborators. In 2021, they were appointed as the Director Cell Production Process Development at Aurion Biotech.
Frada Berenshteyn holds a Bachelor's Degree from New York University, obtained between 1994 and 1998. Frada then went on to obtain a Master's Degree in Life Sciences (specialty in Stem Cells) from the University of Paris, France, between 2008 and 2009. In 2012, they completed an Executive MBA from Suffolk University, Boston, MA. Finally, they also hold a Master's Degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from Hunter College, obtained between 1998 and 2000.
