Tianyu Cai

Tianyu (Clement) Cai is a highly experienced scientist in the field of analytical development for cell and gene therapies, currently serving as Principal Scientist at Aurion Biotech since June 2023. Previous roles include Team Lead at Prime Medicine, Inc. and Principal Scientist at Codiak BioSciences, demonstrating a strong focus on cell therapy and gene therapy development. Tianyu held a Senior Scientist II position at Luye Pharma Group and contributed to assay development at MD Anderson Cancer Center, where notable projects included CAR T-Cell research targeting leukemia. Educational credentials include a PhD in Pharmacology and a Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, both obtained from Zhejiang University.
