Babak Matinfar

Babak Matinfar is a seasoned professional in the field of imaging and radiation technology, currently serving as Research Staff at Auris Health, Inc. since August 2019. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Imaging Engineer at Elekta from September 2014 to July 2019, and Research Staff at Philips Research NA from November 2010 to September 2014. Babak's academic background includes a PhD in Computer Science from The Johns Hopkins University, where involvement in developing an image guided small animal radiation platform (SARRP) took place, alongside other innovative projects such as minimally invasive systems for skull base drilling and advanced ultrasound algorithms. Babak also holds a Master's in Electrical Engineering from Queen's University and a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tehran.
