David Keating is an experienced safety professional with a robust background in safety management across various industries. Currently serving as Principal Safety Partner at Aurizon since August 2016, David leads a team that supports the NSW and South East Queensland Coal business, focusing on safety strategy implementation and critical risk management. Previous roles include Acting Manager Network Safety Partner at Aurizon, where David led a team partnering with the CQCN Network, and Senior Adviser - Safety & Health at Downer, managing Zero Harm teams across multiple facilities in NSW. David's career began at Xstrata Coal, progressing through various safety and health-focused positions, underpinned by a Bachelor of Occupational Health and Safety obtained from the University of Newcastle.
