Florence Sejourne

Florence Sejourne has a diverse and extensive work experience in the biotech and pharmaceutical industry. Florence is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Aurobac Therapeutics, a position they assumed in September 2022. Prior to this, they were the Founder and President of the BEAM Alliance, an association of biopharmaceutical companies focused on Anti-Microbial resistance R&D, from 2015 to 2022. Florence continues to be involved with the BEAM Alliance as a Board Member and Treasurer since April 2022.

Florence Sejourne also has experience with GENFIT, where they served as a board member from May 2008 onwards. Florence also held the roles of VP, COO, CBO, and Co-founder of GENFIT from September 1999 to May 2008. Additionally, they served as the CEO of DA VOLTERRA, a French biotech company specializing in protecting the intestinal microbiota from the consequences of drug-induced dysbiosis. Their tenure with DA VOLTERRA lasted from May 2008 to August 2022.

Earlier in their career, Florence Sejourne worked as a Biotech Project Manager in Business Development, Tech Transfer, and Start-up Incubation at Eurasanté, an economic development agency dedicated to tech transfer and business development in life sciences. Florence held this position from March 1997 to September 1999.

Florence Sejourne obtained their Engineer degree in Biotechnology from Mines Paris in 1994. Following that, they pursued their MS degree in Pharmaceutics from the University of Illinois Chicago between 1994 and 1996.
