Mattias Berglund

Mattias Berglund has a strong background in powertrain engineering and strategy. Mattias is currently serving as the Head of Strategy and Planning at Aurobay (Powertrain Engineering Sweden AB) since January 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Volvo Cars for a significant portion of their career. Mattias held various roles at Volvo Cars, including Head of Strategy and Planning ICE, Senior Manager Powertrain Strategy, Project Manager Powertrain Concepts, Program Manager Powertrain, and Program Planning and Co-Ordination. Before joining Volvo Cars, they worked as a consultant at Caran AB and Velocis AB, both positions being with the Volvo Car Group.

Mattias Berglund pursued their education in the field of engineering. Mattias began their academic journey at Mälardalen University in 1995, where they completed their Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Engineering in 1997. Following this, they enrolled at Chalmers University of Technology and obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2001.
