Emily Aguiar is an experienced professional in health, safety, and environmental management, currently serving as the Director of Health, Safety and Environment at Aurora Cannabis Inc. since May 2023. Prior to this role, Emily held the position of Director, Environment, Health and Safety at Weston Foods from June 2021 to May 2023. Between September 2013 and June 2021, Emily worked at Martinrea International, initially as Director of Corporate EH&S and Audit and later as Health and Safety Audit Manager. Emily's career began as an Environmental, Health & Safety Consultant at Toronto Hydro from August 2007 to September 2013, and earlier at the Electrical & Utilities Safety Association as a Health and Safety Consultant from May 2006 to August 2007. Emily's educational background includes a Master of Health Science in Occupational & Environmental Health from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Human Kinetics from the University of Guelph.
