Rick Savone

Rick Savone is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in government relations and international trade. Currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Global Government Relations at Aurora Cannabis Inc. since December 2019, Rick holds a past position as Chairman of the Cannabis Council of Canada until September 2024. Previously, Rick has held various senior roles, including Director General at Global Affairs Canada, Ambassador at the Embassy of Canada, and Consul General at the Canadian Consulate General. Rick's career in government trade offices spans over two decades, highlighting expertise in commercial relations and international diplomacy. Rick earned an MBA from the Fox School of Business at Temple University and a BA in Economics from McGill University.
