Simona King

Simona King, CPA, MBA, is the Chief Financial Officer at Aurora Cannabis Inc. since February 2024 and serves as a Global Advisory Board Member for the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association. Previously, Simona held the CFO role at Passage Bio from 2021 to July 2023, where responsibilities included managing finance, accounting, and corporate development, alongside leading corporate transformation initiatives. Earlier experiences include serving as EVP and CFO at Tmunity Therapeutics, VP Finance and Assistant Treasurer at Emergent BioSolutions, and multiple senior finance positions at Bristol-Myers Squibb, where strategic financial planning and analysis were key focuses. Simona began their career as a Research Analyst at the Federal Reserve Board, contributing to economic reports on Eastern European trends. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School, a Diploma in African Studies from the University of Cape Town, and a BA in Economics from Kalamazoo College.
