John Dukes

John Dukes has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. John started their career in 1999 as a Marketing Representative for Western Iowa Networks, where they achieved remarkable success by selling more phone systems in three years than the company had previously sold in ten years combined. This led to the hiring of two additional representatives. In 2004, they joined Aurora Casket Co. as a Senior Sales Advisor and consistently exceeded quotas, achieving a market share of 35% (compared to the company's national market share of 12%) and growing their territory's revenue from $1.8 million to $5 million. John received numerous accolades, including being named the 2012 National Revenue Leader and the 2009 National Rep of the Year. In 2013, they transitioned to the role of Strategic Account Manager at Aurora Casket Co., where they focused on closing business through the development of new and existing accounts. During this time, they also served as the Midwest Director of Sales, overseeing a 7-state region and 11 sales representatives. John Dukes most recent role was as the Owner of Watts Vault and Monument starting from 2019.

John Dukes earned a Mortuary Science Degree from Des Moines Area Community College, specializing in Mortuary Science and Embalming/Embalmer. John attended from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management at Buena Vista University from 1993 to 1997.
