Dylan Barratt

Dylan Barratt is a highly skilled professional currently serving as a Senior Advisory Associate at Aurora Energy Research since March 2023, previously holding the role of Advisory Associate. Prior experience includes a tenure as a Senior Consultant at Oliver Wyman from September 2021 to February 2023, where financial risk models were developed for a major global bank while collaborating with senior credit officers and client modelling teams. As a Co-Founder of Eltanin Maritime Analytics from February 2020 to May 2021, Dylan led initiatives to enhance the efficiency and sustainability of ports through digitalisation and AI, operating within Oxford University Innovation's incubator. Earlier experience includes working as a Research Assistant at ETH Zürich, where complex models for a floating offshore wind turbine were created in collaboration with Hitachi Ltd. Dylan holds a DPhil in Engineering Science from the University of Oxford, an MSc in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Seoul National University, and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand, along with a brief tenure as a Visiting Research Student at DTU - Technical University of Denmark.
