Kane Hunter

Kane Hunter is an experienced energy modeller currently at Aurora Energy Research since September 2018, responsible for leading power market modelling in the Italian and South Eastern Europe electricity markets, while also overseeing team development and project management within the modelling team. Prior to this, Kane worked as an Energy Modelling Analyst focusing on technoeconomic modelling of European energy markets, particularly in Germany and the Netherlands. Additional experience includes a role as a Graduate Building Services Engineer at Mott MacDonald, where responsibilities involved HVAC design, energy simulations, and sustainable building assessments, as well as an environmental design internship at Atelier Ten. Kane's career began with a Year in Industry Placement at Dstl, focusing on radio frequency and electrical engineering. Educational qualifications include an MEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cambridge and a City & Guilds Level 1 in Computer Aided Design.
