Torey Dixon

Torey Dixon is a seasoned professional in affordable housing management, currently serving as Senior Director at Aurora Housing Authority in Colorado since May 2024. Previously, Torey held the position of Vice President of Affordable Housing at Volunteers of America Colorado Branch for 14 years, where responsibilities included restructuring the affordable housing division, supervising over 50 on-site community employees, overseeing a statewide portfolio of 1,300 units, and engaging in contract negotiations. Torey also has experience as Division Director of Affordable Housing, managing a portfolio of 900+ units, coordinating staff training, and negotiating policy with HUD. Earlier in the career, Torey worked as a Regional Compliance Auditor at Aimco Apartment Homes, focusing on compliance for a national affordable housing portfolio. Torey earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Phoenix between 1999 and 2004.
