Gemma Sandford

Gemma Sandford (Wharton) is a seasoned marketing and communications professional with extensive experience across various sectors, including health, charity, and technology. Currently a Marketing and Communications Consultant at Marketing by Aurora LTD since April 2023, Gemma previously held the role of VP of Marketing for Verbio, overseeing marketing and communications across EMEA, LATAM, and North America. Gemma’s earlier tenure at G2 Speech spanned nearly a decade, culminating in a Director position where responsibilities included strategic planning and stakeholder engagement. Prior experience also includes roles in communications management at Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and the Leeds Partnerships NHS Foundation Trust, along with diverse positions in the airline and hospitality industries. Gemma holds a BA Honours degree in Media Communications and PR from the University of Lincoln and several additional qualifications in leadership and management.
