Marcus Yarborough, CTS-D, CTS-I, Dante Level 3

Marcus Yarborough is a CTS-D, CTS-I, Dante Level 3 with a wealth of experience in audiovisual design, engineering, and project management. Marcus began their career in 2011 as a Senior IT Systems Analyst and Media Technician for CSC. In 2012, they joined Robert Slye Electronics, Inc. as a Project Engineer, where they worked on project design, software programming, and project management. In 2013, they moved to Carousel Industries as a Sales Engineer, where they incorporated audiovisual design and communication into projects. In 2014, they joined Pragmatics, Inc. as an AV Design Engineer, where they worked with project managers to design and describe the components needed to complete the AV solutions. In 2015, they joined AVIXA as a Staff Instructor, where they led courses for CTS certification courses and Network training. In 2020, they joined CTSI - Corbett Technology Solutions, Inc. as a Project Manager, and in the same year they began seeking employment as an Audio Visual Specialist. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Aurora Multimedia as a Global Education Support Director and Unassailable Solutions as an AV Design Engineer, where they design, installs, and commissions audiovisual systems.

Marcus Yarborough has a diverse educational background. Marcus obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technologies: Computer Networking from Westwood College - Denver North in 2012. Prior to this, they served in the United States Army from 1995 to 2000, where they gained experience in communications. Marcus also attended Woodbridge Senior High School from 1994 to 1995 and Thomas Stone High School from 1992 to 1994, though they did not receive a diploma or any other qualifications. Marcus has also obtained three certifications from InfoComm International and AVIXA: Certified Technical Specialist - Design (2019), Certified Technology Specialist (2014), and Certified Technology Specialist - Installation (2015). Marcus also holds a Dante Level 3 certification.
