Bruce has held key positions in various libraries and organizations, including Chief Executive Officer roles in both Aurora Public Library and Woodstock Public Library. Bruce also served as the Director of Central Library and Regional Services at Halifax Public Libraries, overseeing strategic direction, organizational development, and community partnerships. With a strong educational background, including a Director's Education Program Graduate degree from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management, Bruce is well-equipped to lead and manage complex environments effectively.

Our strategic priorities include School Success, Express Creativity, Feed Your Imagination, and Welcome to America. We’re dedicated to providing excellent customer service in a diverse urban area. Our 97,000-square foot main library which opened in 2015 includes a makerspace and a media production lab. We also have two branches and a bookmobile. We serve six school districts in four counties, and our bookmobile provides library services to students in East Aurora School District 131.
