Angela Smith

Angela Smith has extensive experience in educational administration, currently serving as the Assistant Superintendent for Operations at West Aurora School District 129 since July 2014. Previously, Angela held the position of Assistant Superintendent for Finance at Plainfield Community Consolidated School District #202 from July 2012 to June 2014 and served as Director of Business Services for Community Unit School District 308 from July 2009 to June 2012. Angela's career began in the banking sector as Vice President and Trust Officer at Castle Bank from September 1990 to March 2001. Angela holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Aurora University (2014-2017), a Master of Business Administration from Columbia College (2010-2012), and a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Northern Illinois University (1987-1990). Education also includes attendance at Marquette University (1986-1987) and completion at Rochelle Township High School (1982-1986).
