Alexey Filimonov

Alexey Filimonov has been the CTO of DataArt since the company's inception in 1997 and was named COO in 2008. His expertise and knowledge of the latest technical innovations has brought DataArt to the ranks of the most distinguished IT companies in the world.

Alexey led DataArt’s participation in the Microsoft .NET Early Adopter Program (.NET EAP) and certification as Microsoft Gold Partner. He’s in charge of managing a several-hundred strong technology team, overseeing all R&D and production processes, and assures DataArt’s compliance with the latest technology and security standards.

Prior to DataArt, Alexey was the CTO of the first B2B Internet portal in Russia, Marketsite. Before that he was an independent IT consultant working on different projects for large retailers and government organizations. He has a MS degree in Computer Science from St. Petersburg State University of Information Technology, Mechanics and Optics (SPbUITMO), and an Executive MBA from the Advanced Management Institute (AMI).
