Jill Johnson

Jill Johnson, MSEd, serves as the Library Director and Library Information Specialist for West Aurora School District 129 since July 2015. With a background as a Freelance Web Designer and Virtual Assistant since December 2011, Jill has diverse experience in educational settings, having worked as an Information Technology Assistant at St. Charles Public Library and as a Teacher/Librarian at Streamwood High School. Additional roles include substitute instructor across various subjects and positions such as Graduate Research Assistant at Northern Illinois University, Executive Assistant at Equipment Depot, and Legal Assistant at Shaw, Jacobs & Associates, P.C. Jill's educational credentials include a Master of Science in Education with a focus on Instructional Technology from Northern Illinois University, a certificate in Web Authoring and Design from Waubonsee Community College, and a Bachelor's degree in Communications from Northern Illinois University. Currently, Jill is pursuing further professional development in Secondary Education and Teaching at Idaho State University.
