Laszlo Garamszegi

Mr. Garamszegi is a co-founder of Aurora Spine and has built several medical device companies in the general surgery and spinal implant field with over 23 years of executive leadership experience combined with intense creativity and passion.

At all his companies, he served as Chief Technology Officer and VP of Engineering and has developed all essential products, raised funds, and formed the Product Development, Quality, Regulatory, and Manufacturing operations. Mr. Garamszegi’s expertise in intellectual property development, product design, quality systems, regulations, design controls, prototyping, manufacturing, product launches, licensing deals and partnering with other manufacturers contributed significantly to his teams’ growth and improved patient care while generating over a $150M in revenue.

He has obtained numerous 510k clearances and international regulatory approvals, holds multiple domestic and international patents, and co-invented first to market devices such as the DEXA Technology-based patient bone density-matched DEXA-C spinal fusion system.

Mr. Garamszegi earned his Manufacturing degree in Engineering Technology from Banki Donat Technical Institute in Hungary.
