Yuan Zhuang

Yuan Zhuang is an accomplished professional in the electrical engineering sector, currently serving as Head of Networks at Aurora Utilities Limited since January 2025. Prior to this role, Zhuang held the position of Grid Connections Manager at GRIDSERVE Sustainable Energy Limited from April 2023 to January 2025. Zhuang’s expertise in electricity networks was further honed as a Senior Electricity Networks Consultant at Arup between April 2022 and April 2023. Previous experience includes roles at SSE plc, where Zhuang worked as a Network Development Engineer and Network/System Planning and Investment Engineer, and as an Electrical Engineer at Sweco UK from February 2014 to October 2018. Zhuang began the career as an intern at KPF in 2013. Educational qualifications include a PhD and a BEng in Electrical Engineering, both obtained from the University of Southampton, with the latter degree completed in 2009.
