Carl Wellington

Carl Wellington is the VP of Autonomy at Aurora since January 2021. Previously, Carl held various roles at Uber Advanced Technologies Group from January 2015 to January 2021, including Director of Self-Driving Cars. Carl also worked as a Senior Researcher at the National Robotics Engineering Center from August 2005 to July 2015. Carl holds a PhD in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University and a BS in Engineering from Swarthmore College.
