Fangrong Peng

Fangrong Peng is an experienced software engineer specializing in perception, currently employed at Aurora since February 2019. Previously, Fangrong held the position of Senior Algorithm Developer at Aptiv from September 2016 to January 2019, where responsibilities included the development and maintenance of perception algorithms for Ford's Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and participation in the Ford L2/L3 autonomous vehicle program. Prior to this, Fangrong contributed as a research assistant at Syracuse University from August 2010 to August 2016, engaging in research on MIMO communications and related projects, while also serving as a teaching assistant. Additional experience includes a research internship at Redpoint Positioning Corporation and research at Chalmers University of Technology. Fangrong holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and master's degrees in Applied Statistics and Telecommunications Engineering.
