Jack Harris

Jack Harris is a highly experienced technology professional currently serving as the Senior Staff Tech Lead Manager at Aurora since February 2021, where the focus is on safely delivering the benefits of self-driving technology. Prior to this role, Jack worked at Uber as a Software Engineer in the Self Driving Group from September 2020 to February 2021, contributing to analysis tools for self-driving cars. From May 2015 to September 2020, Jack held the position of Engineering Director at Quorum, where significant growth was achieved, expanding the team from a dorm-room project to over 150 members. Earlier in 2014, Jack worked as a Software Engineer for Casey Neistat, developing a widely visited web application and assisting in launching the first website with the top-level domain ".nyc". Jack holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Columbia University and has an educational background from Georgetown University and Friends Seminary.
