Michael Samples

Michael Samples possesses extensive experience in the field of computer science and robotics, currently focusing on self-driving vehicles at Aurora since January 2021. Previously, Michael contributed to the development of the Hololens at Microsoft from May 2014 to January 2021, and worked on autonomous driving and robotics at the Toyota Technical Center from May 2005 to May 2014, tackling complex challenges using machine learning and computer vision. Earlier roles include AI research at Altarum and involvement in undergraduate research at the University of Michigan, where Michael explored machine learning and genetic algorithms. Michael holds a B.S. in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Michigan, obtained in 2006.
