Shane Kelly

Shane Kelly is a skilled software engineer with a strong background in localization, mapping, and sensor calibration. Currently employed at Aurora since September 2022, Shane has previously worked at Optimus Ride in dual roles as a Software Engineer and Deployment Engineer from August 2018 to August 2020. Additional experience includes an internship as a Software Engineer at MITRE in the summer of 2017, a Sensor Systems internship at Raytheon BBN Technologies in 2016, and a Software Development internship at Pharos Labs LLC in 2015. Shane holds a Master of Science in Robotics, Systems, and Control from ETH Zürich and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with Robotics from Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering.
