Brianna Nielson

Brianna Nielson is an experienced professional in health policy and stakeholder engagement, currently serving as Deputy Director and previously in multiple roles at Aurrera Health Group since August 2019, where responsibilities include promoting the Health Homes Program for the California Department of Health Care Services and facilitating learning collaboratives for managed care plans. Nielson has a background in leadership facilitation at Saint Mary's College and program coordination with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, focusing on health care models and service delivery. With additional experience in program development and health advocacy, Nielson has worked with organizations such as the YMCA, International Rescue Committee, and Alameda Point Collaborative. Educational credentials include a Master of Public Health from UC Berkeley and a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Psychology minor from Saint Mary's College.
