Steve Meiring

Steve Meiring is an experienced professional in the field of dewatering and metallurgy, currently serving as a Dewatering Consultant at BHP since July 2024 and at Ausenco as a Lead Process Engineer - Dewatering Consultant since August 2021. Steve has been associated with PasteTech as a Dewatering Consultant since September 2014 and previously worked at Hatch in the same capacity for twelve years, focusing on dewatering of minerals globally. From 1998 to 2002, Steve held the position of Senior Metallurgist at Kemess Mine and worked as a Process Engineer at Bird Machine from 1994 to 2001, where responsibilities included sales and technical development of centrifuges. Steve holds a degree in Extractive Metallurgy from the Witwatersrand School of Mining and Metallurgy, where studies were completed from 1984 to 1987.
