Faisal Sami

Faisal Sami is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in software engineering and applications management. Currently serving as Applications Manager at Ausgrid since April 2021, Faisal previously held key leadership roles including Software Engineering Director at Simple Store and Director of Software Engineering at Mastercard. At Mastercard, Faisal managed a significant technical delivery program with a budget of over $20 million and oversaw a diverse team of more than 85 members across multiple countries. Faisal's career also includes positions as IT Applications Director at Pinpoint Pty Ltd, where a successful transition to Agile methodologies was facilitated, and other roles in various organizations including CustomCall, Baulkham Hills Shire Council, and Traveland Pty Ltd. Faisal holds an education from Western Sydney University.
