Blake Allen is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the medical device industry, currently serving as Director of Engineering at AuST Development & Manufacturing since December 2018, where responsibilities include research and development of cardiovascular products, project management, and technical writing. Previously, Blake held the position of Director of Engineering at Piper Access from August 2016 to December 2018, leading the development of intraosseous access devices and overseeing FDA submission processes. Prior roles include Program Manager/Senior R&D Engineer at CR Bard and Program Manager/Mechanical Engineer at MOOG Medical Devices Group, focusing on catheter research and medical ultrasound applications, respectively. A background in mechanical engineering was established through positions at ZEVEX, Resodyn Corporation, and the University of Utah, where advanced degrees in the field were obtained.
