Dianne Odegard is a seasoned conservation professional with extensive experience in bat conservation and public outreach. As the Director and Co-Founder of Austin Bat Refuge since December 2015, Odegard has played a pivotal role in the organization's development and mission. Prior to this, Odegard served as the Public Outreach and Education Manager at Bat Conservation International from January 2005 to June 2017, where efforts focused on educating the public about bat conservation.

Austin Bat Refuge

Austin Bat Refuge, a 501(c)(3) organization, cares for orphaned, injured, and displaced bats found all over Central Texas and the Houston area. We provide expert care and services to hundreds of bats every year, conduct public education programs to promote appreciation and support for bats as crucial members of local ecosystems and fascinating members of the animal kingdom, and offer conflict resolution services.
