Adam Johnson

Adam Johnson is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in emergency management and technology. Currently serving as a SAR Volunteer for TEXSAR since December 2022, Adam also holds the position of Wireless Technology Manager for Travis County Emergency Services since November 2021. As a Regional EMD/EMD-Q Instructor and Lead Evaluator for Priority Dispatch since February 2010, Adam has contributed significantly to the training and quality assurance of emergency response teams across North America. Previously, Adam retired as Division Chief at Austin-Travis County EMS after 25 years, where responsibilities included UAS Program Management, field operations leadership, and coordination of controlled substances. Adam’s educational background includes training at the National Fire Academy and studies at the College of the Mainland in Texas.
