Joshua Kern

Joshua Kern is an experienced UAS Instructor at MAWTS-1 since June 2019, specializing in unmanned aircraft systems operations. Prior to this role, Joshua Kern served in the United States Marine Corps from November 2007 to June 2019, where responsibilities included training and standardization of UAS operations as an Unmanned Aircraft Systems WTI. Additional experience included serving as an Unmanned Aircraft Systems Operator and an Infantry Squad Leader for the 1st Platoon, Echo Company, 1st LAR, with deployment in support of Operation Enduring Freedom from 2011 to 2012, as well as contributions to the Fleet Anti-Terrorism Security Team.
