Katy Zamesnik is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public administration and financial management. Currently serving as the Assistant Director at the Austin Convention Center since February 2023, Katy previously held significant roles at the City of Austin, including Chief Administrative Officer and Business Process Consultant, where leadership in developing the City's largest-ever General Obligation Bond and executing comprehensive community engagement initiatives was demonstrated. Katy possesses a strong background in budget analysis, strategic coordination, and contract management, alongside experience in sales and legislative processes from earlier positions at GTO, INC., One Eighty Consulting, and DLA Piper. Katy holds a Master’s degree in Public Affairs from The LBJ School and a Bachelor's degree in Economics and International Affairs from Florida State University.

The Austin Convention Center (ACC) is a USGBC LEED® Gold EB certified venue located in the heart of Austin, Texas, the capital of the Lone Star State. We are based downtown comfortably situated amongst a high density of hotels with 11,000 guests rooms. Stretching over six city blocks the Convention Center amounts to 881,400 gross square feet. Our five contiguous exhibit halls offer 247,052 square feet of column-free space.
