Geoff Leyland

Geoff Leyland is a highly experienced data scientist currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at Austin Data Labs since July 2023. Previously, Geoff held the position of Principal Data Scientist at Fonterra from May 2018 to July 2023 and was the Owner of Incremental Ltd from December 2005 to May 2018. In addition, Geoff contributed to academia as a Lecturer in Engineering Science at The University of Auckland in mid-2015, where teaching performance was rated in the top 20% of the faculty. Educational achievements include a Ph.D. in the Optimisation of Industrial Energy Systems from EPFL, a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, and a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Science, all from The University of Auckland.
